About Samata

In ancient Sanskrit, Samata means tranquility, harmony and balance.

Explore the hidden depths of the Indonesian archipelago aboard an elegant Phinisi yacht. Dream away the days in refined style with the superb service of a crew of 14. Handcrafted in 2006 on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, Samata combines traditional Phinisi design with contemporary European styling.

The yacht boasts three decks, including a sun deck, diving deck and private deck for the master suite. Every detail of your cruise, from the gourmet dining to the luxury linen, is taken care of. Tailored activities, refined dining and superb service combine with the little luxuries of home for an unforgettable experience.

With a master suite, four deluxe suites, and a crew of 14, Samata is fully equipped to sleep 10 guests. French-designed interiors and European styling add a touch of elegance to your luxury escape. The interior cabin is equipped with an indoor dining area, leather lounges with a reading library, and a television with on-demand viewing.
The main deck features dining tables which convert to outdoor daybeds, sun lounges, and side tables.

Discover flavors of the world, explore fresh local cuisine or design your own menu with the help of our onboard chefs. Our menu packages are designed to suit your every taste and need, with the option to cater to special diets. Design your meals to suit your mood, with indoor and outdoor onboard dining, as well as the option to enjoy a remote beach barbeque or a daytime picnic on one of the surrounding islands.
