Leyla is a traditionally built two mast Phinisi, made for leisure in style. The 33 meter or 108 foot sailing ship was launched in December 2018. She made her maiden voyage from Tanjun Bira, South Sulawesi to Waisai in Raja Ampat where she started her first trip.
Having set foot on the boat you will find a spacious deck in front of the boat and a shaded higher deck on top with comfortable seating and chilling areas. Indoor there is an aircon cooled lounge area where food can be served. The yacht has a fully equipped kitchen. Organic and natural toiletries are readily available. Below deck there are two double cabins, one master cabin and one smaller cabin. All cabins are equipped with aircon units and their own bathroom.
Leyla’s Cruise Director, Captain and Crew will welcome you aboard with a smile and will lavish you with care and service. We created the perfect setting for you to enjoy water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking and sailing, combined with trekking and experiencing the enriching cultures throughout the Indonesian archipelago. We offer multi day trips within famous national parks such as Komodo and Raja Ampat. In between seasons we also do exciting liveaboard expeditions passing through some of the most remote areas of Indonesia.
During our trips a range of activities is possible. Indonesia offers world-class diving making it our most requested activity. We usually do 3 dives per day. Night dives are also possible. Diving with one of our highly experienced guides is not only mandatory but will also greatly enhance the joy of your dives. Other popular activities are kayaking, hiking, visiting higher altitude view points, enjoying the sunset from a deserted island, having a dinner on the beach and of course snorkeling and swimming. Yet even for a lazy boat trip you have come to the right place and Leyla’s multiple spacious sun and shaded decks can very well serve as comfortable relax area’s with an ever changing grand view.
On board we provide a full range of services. Leyla’s kitchen staff does their best to provide you with a unique menu that is the result of the fine blending of herbs and spices of Indonesia with locally grown and carefully picked ingredients. Water, coffee and tea are readily available and we also cater to special dietary requests. We have our main dining area on the back of the yacht and there are plenty of spaces to hang out if you want to enjoy some quiet time to read a book or take a nap.
On Leyla we provide a balanced diet. A typical menu for the day would consist of an early tea/coffee with seasonal fruit. After the first activity the staff will be ready to serve you a breakfast buffet with a choice of home made bread, eggs, toast, pancakes, fruit salad, sausages, bacon and more. For lunch and dinner you can expect a variation of international and Indonesian meals, with a Mediterranean influence on the cooking style and use of ingredients.
